Line up in this position.Check road level and camber to determine the clutch control.Move off looking behind.

Just before you get level with the van,look forward and check behind for other road users.If any stop and apply handbrake

When your left wing mirror gets half way along the van look at the back left of the window,and turn the wheel left until the car begins to head towards the kerb.Do not turn left anymore

The car is now heading towards the kerb.Now look forward and check right blindspot for any road users.If any stop apply handbrake

This is the angle you need to come in at.If your car is out too far to the right,you will have to correct the angle by steering some right to bring the front in.

You should now be at this angle and about this far from the kerb.Now look in the wing mirror for your turning point

Do you see how much of the wheel arch is over the kerb,or the rear of the tyre is from the kerb.At this point look over your laeft shoulder and tunr the wheel fully right hrd and quickly.Keep the speed slow
|
Now look at the car in front as you come in.Your rear wheels will now come away from the kerb,and your front will go in.Just before you are square on the front car,turn your wheel left,to straighten up and stop gently,applying the handbrake,and select neutral gear.
