CLOSED ROUNDABOUT

As you approach this roundabout do your MSM ROUTINE.Depending on which direction you are going to take at the roundabout will determine if you need to indicate and which lane to be in.If you are going to turn right or left you will need to indicate by the gap in the markings in the center of the road.Your approach speed should be slow.As it is closed you will nedd to go into first gear about a car length from the give way lines, just like a T Jct.If there is no traffic from your right crossing the front of your car,or ahead of you crossing the front of your car,you can then leave the roundabout. If there is a car from your right you will need to judge its soeed and distance as wether to go or stay at the give way lines. If you were going to turn right at this roundabout you would need to go slightly over the white paint of the roundabout so as to avoid hitting the kerb.
This is a closed mini roundabout.Notice the car to the right. You can just about see the front half of the car.You can’t see clearly into the exit to the right far back. This makes this a closed mini roundabout
