using blockers

Once you have done your MSM ROUTINE you should be approaching the roundabout slowly.You now need to read the roundabout before you get there.You need to use other traffic that is gojng to block traffic coming out of the exit to your right.These I refer to as blockers.Unfortunately the cars in the photos don’t move and only give you some idea as when to leave the roundabout.Ideally you need to see the traffic moving.You need to judge approach speeds and distances etc.It is a good idea for you to go and stand and watch at a roundabout and see who goes and who gives way.


The white car now going ahead at the roundaboutis blocking any traffic from leaving the exit to your right.You should now leave your exit and proceed.If you go much later than this,traffic from your right will start to move if there is not a following blocker.You do not get a lot of time.			The metallic blue car to your left is turning right at the roundabout,and will block traffic from the ahead exit, and the exit to your right.You should proceed to leave your exit just before the blue car gets to the front of the car in the ahead exit
