You must give way to traffic already on the motorway.Do not race with the vehicles from the link road on your right to join the motorway first.If you do.you will create a dangerous situation.It is better to be late for an appointment than to be dead

This driver is treating the hatching as a Give Way Area An offence is being committed and the action taken by the driver is dangerous,not only to himself and his passengers,but numerous other drivers as well.

It cannot be stressed too much that the use of direction indicators gives you no right of way.Numerous drivers seem to miscontrue the true purpose of these signals. They charge down the acceleration lane not knowing if any lanes are clear due to not checking any mirrors etc.You must give way to traffic already on the motorway.If there isn’t a suitable safe gap in the traffic,slow down and wait in the acceleration lane until there is,and safe to proceed and join the motorway.
