| As you approach this t junction you should be positioned off the parked cars to your left.You should be planning for any car that might turn into the road.Once you have cleared the last car on your left get over as much as you can without hitting it.Do you see the idiots that have parked across the road.Be prepared for cars from you left to be out wide to clear them.. |
This is a closed T Junction with parked cars either side of the road and very little room.There are also parked cars across the end of the road.Look how the car at the end of the road has positioned to turn right. You you also be aware of what to do if another car turned into the road.Read the section on Meeting and Clearing.

This is an example of an open T Junction.This photo was taken a long way back from the give way lines.If you look across the the green do you see how far you can see what could come along the raod from the right. You will still need to approach slowly glancing to your right to see if it is clear.If there is no traffic from the right you can take this junction in second gear.You must always make sure it is also clear from your left before leaving the road you are in.
